NEXIA INSOLV LTD

Nexia Insolv Ltd is the Recovery and Insolvency arm of Nexia Poyiadjis and the Cyprus member of Nexia International.

Officer - Legal Section - Receivership, Insolvency Division

Main responsibilities:

  • Manage legal section of company in connections with lawsuits against &/or on behalf of Companies in Receivership 
  • Liaise with Lawyers on all Legal Matters
  • Provide support to the Head of the Department in relation to receivership and Insolvency Services
  • Other duties assigned to him/her by Senior Staff
  • Provide support to Insolvency Practitioners in carrying out tasks relating to liquidations, and other Insolvency issues
  • Assist in the restructuring of performing and non-performing debt

Requirements: 

  • Relevant University Degree
  • At least 2 years relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages both written and spoken 
  • Working knowledge of the MS Office program
  • Professional attitude- presentable, friendly, punctual, team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Attention to detail; time management and organising skills
  • Ability to cope under pressure; manage diverse workload and multi-task efficiently
  • Energetic, and assertive attitude;

Officer - General Duties of the Receivership and Insolvency Division,

Main responsibilities:

  • General support to the Head and other senior staff of the Department
  • Provide support to the senior staff in relation to receivership and insolvency services
  • Provide support to Insolvency Practitioners in carrying out tasks relating to liquidations, and other Insolvency issues
  • Assist in the sale of distressed businesses.

Requirements:

  • Secondary School Diploma. University degree will be considered an advantage. 
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages both written and spoken
  • Working knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Previous experience in Receivership and Insolvency Services will be considered an advantage
  • Professional attitude- presentable, friendly, punctual, team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

AUDIT MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate various planning phases of the Firms engagements 
  • Establish primary working relationship with clients 
  • Generate budgets. 
  • Monitor engagements to ensure work is effectively on time
  • Review reports and financial statements based on IFRS
  • Provide overall leadership, supervision, training and performance feedback to staff. 

Requirements: 

  • Qualified accountant, holder of ACA/ACCA/CPA 
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the audit profession 
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Caseware
  • Excellent knowledge of English language. Knowledge of Greek language will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. 
  • Ability to exercise sound critical judgment


ASSOCIATE, AUDIT & ASSURANCE 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist on assigned segments of an audit
  • Prepare acceptable working papers that record and summarize findings on the assigned audit segment
  • Complete the audit of a dormant company with supervision from senior associate
  • Vouch / Trace invoices to and from ledger
  • Prepare confirmation letter for closing balances
  • Check bank reconciliations
  • Prepare draft financial statements
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned

Requirements: 

  • Degree Graduate (2:1 or 7/10 or 3.5/4)
  • ACA/ACCA student
  • Excellent knowledge of the English and Russian or Chinese language
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Enthusiastic team player.
  • Highly organized individual who is willing to multitask and work in a challenging work environment

 

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, TAX/vat DEPARTMENT

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients for any Tax or VAT compliance matters 
  • Completion of relevant forms for submission to the Tax/VAT authorities 
  • Liaising with the VAT authorities on standard Tax/VAT compliance matters
  • Carrying out Tax/VAT reviews of clients’ financial statements and liaising with the relevant departments
  • Other Tax/VAT compliance and advisory related tasks 

Requirements: 

  • Degree Graduate in a related field (2:1 or 7/10 or 3.5/4)
  • ACCA student/affiliate
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Tax or VAT position
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Enthusiastic team player
  • Excellent written / verbal communication skills 
  • Highly organized individual who is willing to multitask and work in a challenging work environment
