MANAGER, AUDIT & aSSURANCE

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate various planning phases of the Firms engagements 
  • Establish primary working relationship with clients 
  • Generate budgets. 
  • Monitor engagements to ensure work is effectively on time
  • Review reports and financial statements based on IFRS
  • Provide overall leadership, supervision, training and performance feedback to staff. 

Requirements: 

  • Qualified accountant, holder of ACA/ACCA/CPA 
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the audit profession 
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Caseware
  • Excellent knowledge of English language. Knowledge of Greek language will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. 
  • Ability to exercise sound critical judgment


MANAGER, Tax services

Responsibilities:

  • Maintains effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax compliance process.
  • Takes responsibility for proper tax filing and tax document retention in relation to the direct tax compliance matters.
  • Meeting and liaising with clients and the Tax authorities for any tax compliance matters
  • Review of clients’ financial statements and related tax compliance deliverables (provisional tax computations, final tax computations, identification of tax risks, companies’ tax returns, employees’ tax returns, employers’ tax returns etc.).
  • Monitors legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate the effects of these development to management and shares strategies to capitalize on such tax developments.
  • Preparation of tax advisory reports, tax rulings, DD reports, tax reorganizations etc.
  • Work with external service providers and Nexia member firms in relation to any of the above, as and when necessary
  • Assist tax partner and senior management on proposals and business development calls.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor associates and interns on tax projects and assess performance of staff for engagement reviews; perform in-charge role as needed.
  • Maintain a good working relationship with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and work with client management and staff at all levels to perform tax services.

Requirements:

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, AUDIT & ASSURANCE 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist on assigned segments of an audit
  • Prepare acceptable working papers that record and summarize findings on the assigned audit segment
  • Complete the audit of a dormant company with supervision from senior associate
  • Draft conclusions on findings on the assigned audit segments
  • Prepare draft financial statements.
  • Coach associates on basic work sections.
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned

Requirements: 

  • Degree Graduate (2:1 or 7/10 or 3.5/4)
  • Newly Qualified ACCA/ACA/CPA with minimum 3 years of relevant experience. 
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Enthusiastic team player.
  • Highly organized individual who is willing to multitask and work in a challenging work environment

 

SENIOR ASSOCIATE, Tax services

 Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients for any tax compliance matters (i.e. provisional tax declarations, tax assessments, income tax returns etc) 
  • Completion of relevant forms for submission to the tax authorities 
  • Liaising with the tax authorities on standard tax compliance matters
  • Carrying out tax reviews of clients’ financial statements and liaising  with the relevant departments. 
  • Other tax compliance and advisory related tasks 
Requirements: 
  • Degree Graduate (2:1 or 7/10 or 3.5/4)
  • ACA/ACCA affiliate or close to qualification
  • 3 years of previous experience in Tax services
  • Excellent knowledge of the English  language
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Enthusiastic team player.
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills.
  • Highly organized individual who is willing to multitask and work in a challenging work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with clients or other external parties, in order to perform their day to day accounting work.
  • Maintenance of accurate and complete accounting records.
  • Performance of bank and other reconciliations.
  • Prepare and finalize the accounting files;
  • Assist at the annual audit engagements to ensure a smooth, efficient audit process;Performs other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

  • Proven 5+ years of experience in accounting;
  • Degree graduate in Accounting (2:1 or 7/10 or 3/4), or Holder of LCCI Accounting – Higher Level, CAT diploma, or any other relevant qualifications;
  • Previous working experience in a national/multinational accounting/tax services providing company;
  • Strong knowledge of the applicable VAT and Tax Laws is a must;
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles;
  • Very good knowledge in operating within the accounting software Esoft is an advantage
  • Ability to communicate and solve any sort of requests from clients related to the accounting services;
  • Detail oriented, organized, committed to deadlines and autonomous;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus;
  • Excellent knowledge of the English  language
  • Very good use of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the team in carrying out daily tasks relating to liquidation, Appointment of Receiver / Manager and other Insolvency and debt restructuring issues
  • Handle all incoming calls, in a professional and cheerful manner and taking messages correctly
  • Act as the first point of contact to the firm's visitor; greeting clients with a professional and pleasant manner.
